Social Studies
This week in Social Studies, students
finished researching different roles in the provincial government. Students
were given a study guide and time to work on it and then we corrected it
together. We also reviewed chapter 6 with a quizlet. On Tuesday March 3rd, we will have a
quiz on chapter 6 and afterwards we will begin studying democracy in ancient
Athens. Research projects on different services offered in French by the
provincial government were returned to students with a rubric and marks are in
PowerSchool under outcomes 3 and 4.

This week in FLA, students had a
reading comprehension test on “les expressions.” Tests were returned to

marks are also in PowerSchool. Students wrote their second dictée
and marks for the first and second dictée are now in PowerSchool. Next week we
will work on different homophones and start a unit on poetry.
Next week is "Francophone Week." On Thursday March 5, there will be a food
truck and for 8$, students can purchase a poutine and a pop or iced tea.

If you have any extra bread bags at home, could you send them to school
